Energy Facility Contractors Group, EFCOG
EFCOG is a volunteer organization, directed by senior level
executives from DOE contractors, sustained by working level
personnel from member contractors, and supported by DOE.
EFCOG promotes excellence in all aspects of the operation,
management, and integration of DOE facilities in a safe, environmentally
sound, efficient and cost-effective manner through the ongoing
exchange of such things as successful programs, best management
practices, industry benchmarks/standards, appraisal findings/resolutions,
advances in technical and managerial areas, and new ideas/practices,
procedures, lessons learned, and other pertinent information
of common interest which have been effectively utilized by
M&O contractors, M&I contractors, and laboratories.
Networking opportunities are available through participation
on the various workings of the EFCOG. The EFCOGs Chemical
Safety and Lifecyle Management subroup, serves as the co-chair
of the DOE/EFCOG Chemical Safety Topical Committee (CSTC).
