Scope:
The Headquarters Security
Officer (HSO) Program was developed by the Under Secretary
of Energy in 1990. Each Element was directed to designate
an HSO to serve as the point of contact for security
related matters within their respective Elements.
The HQ Technical and Information Security Team directs
the actions of the HSOs through the implementation
of the HSO Program.
