Locating information within the HSS website can be accomplished by navigating through our Office's functions or by selecting specific areas of interest. The HSS Program Offices, Functions, Document Collections, and Sitemap listed below will provide you with easy access to our content.

Program Offices: HSS is comprised of 11 Program Offices and sub-offices. Each office has a specific mission, as well as functions, that reflect their general activities.

HSS Organizational Chart: The HSS interactive organizational chart provides a visual display of each office and its sub-offices.

Sitemap: The HSS Sitemap provides an alphabetical listing of the documents and activities that comprise the Office of Health, Safety and Security.

Document Collections: The HSS website contains more than 10,000 documents spanning over many topics, including worker health, safety, personnel and facility security, enforcement and oversight, environment, performance quality assurance, and HSS outreach activities. Clicking here will take you to listings of these topics, as well as a full-text search tool and a Document Notification Service that enables email alerts when selected documents are added to our website.

: OSHA has released its much anticipated revised standard 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200 Hazard Communication. A copy is available at http://federalregister.gov/a/2012-04826.

10 C.F.R 851 requires DOE contractors must comply with OSHA regulations and DOE O 440.1B requires Federal offices to comply. Training on new labels and safety data sheets is required by December 1, 2013.

Updating labels, HAZCOM programs, and training is required by June 1, 2016.(March 2012)
